Willliam "Bud" Reynolds, our founder, started the law firm in 1998 with the mission of building strong relationships with not only our clients but also with other professionals that can help assist clients when part of the solution needed may include subject matters outside of the law. Our office is very collaborative and technologically savvy. We are on a growth trajectory and we are looking to add motivated and growth-orientated team members.
We are located in Kansas City, Missouri (Country Club Plaza area) and we practice primarily in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area (both Missouri and Kansas).
This position is for a Paralegal. The ideal candidate would have significant family law paralegal experience. A good candidate would have significant civil litigation-based paralegal experience.
Internally, you will work closely with all team members including the attorneys to help maintain, organize, and process various legal matters. Externally, you will interact with our clients, other professionals, the courts as directed and needed to help assist the attorneys and our clients with legal matters. You will be the first point of contact for a client on the matter, and be able to be self-motivated and directive.
Responsibilities include: customer service, taking payments, working within multiple technology platforms, and direct work on legal cases. You will work within a team approach to service our client's needs as well as the business needs of the firm. You will draft legal documents, help answer and organize discovery, assist with information and fact gathering, calendaring of case-related events and tasks, etc.
Ideal candidates will have great attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The best candidates will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and a bias for action. Ideal candidates will have 7 or more years of prior paralegal experience. Good candidates will have 3 to 5 years of experience. A candidate with less than 3 years of experience should not apply.

The Reynolds Law Firm focuses on the wellbeing and growth of each individual. We offer competitive compensation and benefits. The salary ranges from $40,000 to $60,000, depending on experience. The ideal candidate is located in the Kansas City metropolitan area to work in the office (a hybrid work model may be an option), but we would also consider candidates for possible remote working.
