Annie Rokusek

I have always known that I wanted to help people. I just didn’t always know what that would look like. Growing up, both of my parents worked in the legal field, so law was always a familiar part of my life. I was the kid who loved watching Forensic Files, Dateline, 60 Minutes, and just about any other true crime or mystery show I could find. Looking back, it probably shouldn’t have been a surprise that I eventually found my way into the legal world.

I attended the University of Central Missouri, where I graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. While at UCM, I also played volleyball, which taught me some lessons that have followed me well beyond my playing days: how to work as part of a team, communicate, stay disciplined, and keep working even when things don’t go exactly as planned.

After college, I spent two years working full-time as a personal trainer in Springfield, Missouri, where I had the opportunity to work for former professional basketball player Jackie Stiles. I loved personal training because I enjoyed getting to know people, understanding their individual goals, and helping them work toward something that was important to them. When I moved back to Kansas City, I realized that I wanted to continue helping people, but in a different way.

That realization led me to The Reynolds Law Firm. As a Client Success Coordinator, I get to help people who are often going through some of the most difficult and uncertain times in their lives. While I’m not the person sitting across the table giving legal advice, I enjoy being part of the team that helps make sure everything behind the scenes is taken care of. I like the details, the organization, the problem-solving, and knowing that the work I do helps the attorneys better serve their clients. There is something especially rewarding about knowing that even the small things I do can make a stressful process a little easier for someone.

One of the things I appreciate most about The Reynolds Law Firm is how much pride the attorneys take in their work. They all have an incredibly strong work ethic and genuinely care about the people they represent. Being surrounded by that kind of dedication has made a big impression on me and has pushed me to hold myself to the same standard. I feel very fortunate to be learning from people who take their work, and their responsibility to their clients, so seriously.

I’m currently pursuing my Paralegal Certificate through Johnson County Community College and plan to complete the program in the spring of 2027. I’m excited to continue learning and growing in the legal field and to see where this next chapter takes me.

When I’m not at the office or studying, you’ll probably find me doing something active. I coach club volleyball and enjoy exercising, taking long walks with friends, playing beach volleyball, cooking, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my puppies. I’m also the unofficial office barista, so if you’re ever in the office, you must try my specialty: a white Americano!
